Free and Environmental Wrapping Paper
Traditionally I have given more attention to wrapping holiday gifts than gifts given during the rest of the year. The past couple of years I have started to make a more conscious effort to be more creative for gifts throughout the year.
I used a nature themed calendar page to wrap the gift above. Calender pictures, especially nature themed ones, can look classy and work equally well for a birthday gift as a thank you gift. The calendar was one of the ones that is sent unsolicited by an organization to encourage donations which meant the only cost was the tape used to wrap it.
For the tag I used a large circle punch on a piece of scrapbook paper.

What a great idea to use up calendar pages.

Thanks. I have been trying to be more conscious about thinking about repurposing before putting stuff in the trash or recycling.

I wish I had thought of the idea years ago. The pictures are often beautiful and it is definitely nice to reuse it rather than recycle it.
